A Chapter 13 Bankruptcy is a repayment plan. It enables individuals with regular income to develop a plan to repay all or part of their debts. Under this Chapter, debtors propose a repayment plan to make installments to creditors over three to five years.

Social Security Disability are benefits paid to a qualified disabled person and some members of his/her family. In order to qualify for SSD, one  must also have a medical condition that meets social security's definition of disability.
